Whilst both teams had key players not available, it yet again proved to be a very close encounter between 2 good teams.  Whilst both teams created chances, with only a bit of 'woodwork' or good defending getting in the way, the home team broke the deadlock.

Marchwiel were out of the blocks very quickly on this wet and windy encounter.  Pressure was applied to the home team every time the visitors got the ball.  Even though a few pre match selections had to be made due to warm up injuries, the shape and committment of all players never let up.  With most of the first half being played in the home team's half, the pressure finally paid off with a slick finish by Adam after some great movement down the left.  Possession by the visitors remained high during the half which quickly saw goals come in from Jonah and Jimmy.  The visitors went into the half time break 3 goals to the good and seemingly well in the driving seat to go and dominate the game in the second half.
